Taman Mini Malaysia/Asean (GPS: 2.28245, 102.30383) is a cultural park in Ayer Keroh, Malacca. It showcases the architecture of the traditional houses found in the different states of the country. There are 13 traditional houses in total, each representing a state in Malaysia. Artisans from each state was hired to ensure complete authenticity of the craftsmanship. Within each house are mannequins dressed according to the traditional Malay attire of the state. In a way, a visit to Taman Mini Malaysia takes visitors to all the states of the country.
Within the same park is Mini Asean, a showcase of the architecture, people, customs and heritage of the countries of Asean (Association of Southeast Asian Nations).
Admission Details
Taman Mini Malaysia / Asean is open daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Admission fee is RM10.00 per adult, and RM5.00 per child.
Getting there
It is located along the Ayer Keroh Highway. If you are coming from the Ayer Keroh Interchange at the North South Expressway, Taman Mini Malaysia/Asean is located on the left side of the road, just after the World's Bee Museum, and before Zoo Melaka.
