Chembong (GPS: 2.62029, 102.09403) is the name of a small village as well as area within the district of Rembau in Negri Sembilan. It is a rural part of the state, to the southeast of Seremban. The people in Chembong are mostly rubber tappers and estate workers. There is a substantial number of ethnic Indians in the area, the majority of whom are Hindus worshipping at the local Sri Mahamariamman Temple.
