Sim Tong Temple, Kuala Pilah (9 July, 2016)
Sim Tong Chinese Temple (GPS: 2.74177, 102.24876; Traditional Chinese: 三聖宫; Simplified Chinese: 三圣宫; Pinyin: Sānshèng Gōng) is a famous Chinese temple in
Kuala Pilah. It is located on Jalan Dato in the town centre, just across the road from the
Lister Memorial Arch. Sim Tong Temple is a relatively new Chinese temple. It was only built in 1987. The whotle temple is painted red, while its roof tiles are orange in colour. The name of the temple appears in on the plaque over the lintel, with couplets flanking the door and on the columns. The temple has a spacious forecourt, which can be used as a car park.
