Tampin Museum (now closed) was the oldest district museum in Negri Sembilan. It is housed in the former Tampin government quarters around the 1920's, near the Tampin Recreational Park.
The Tampin Museum housed items connected to the history of Tampin. Among the artifacts in the museum were old musical instruments and Malay weapons. Within the grounds of Tampin Museum is the border stone marking the boundary of Tampin and Malacca. The stone dates from 1886 and was moved to the museum ground from its actual location some 500 meters away.
