Awana SkyWay (27 May 2005)


Awana SkyWay is the cable car system at Genting Highlands, Pahang. There are three stations on the line. The bottom station is the Awana Station (GPS: 3.40329, 101.78254), the middle station is the Chin Swee Station (GPS: 3.4146, 101.78742) while the top station is the SkyAvenue Station (GPS: 3.42385, 101.79546).

The Awana SkyWay operates daily from 7:00am to 11:00pm while the Chin Way Station is open from 8:00am to 7:00pm. Passengers riding between the Awana Station and SkyAvenue Station are allowed a free stop at the Chin Swee Station.

As of October 2020, the tickets for standard gondola are priced at RM10 per passenger one way, RM18 per passenger return, RM16 per passenger express boarding one way and RM30 per passenger express boarding return. There are also glass floor gondolas. These have special tickets priced at RM21 per passenger one way and RM35 per passenger return. Other rates are available for Malaysian Senior Citizen, Disabled, Passengers with Oversized Baggage and Priority Chartered Gondola.
