Masjid Sultan Ahmad Shah is the main mosque in the royal town of Pekan, Pahang. Completed in 1976, it replaces Masjid Sultan Abdullah next to it as the principal mosque in Pekan. This is the first of two mosques in Pekan bearing the name of the ruler, Sultan Ahmad Shah. The second, Masjid Sultan Ahmad Shah Al-Hajj 2 is located not too far away, and is newer than this one.
