Selera Kampung Food Review
My wife and I had the pleasure of joining other members of the print and social media to review The Northam All Suite's Selera Kampung buffet on 9 May, 2017. When we arrived, all the food was already prepared and placed out in the roof terrace, which offers splendid views of the George Town skyline.
There is so much to eat. I started with the rice and the various type of dishes. There's fish curry, chicken curry, mutton, roti canai, roti jala, and lots of other stuff. Then there's also bubur kacang hijau, all sorts of pudding and kuih, and at least two types of soup. I was so full at the end of the meal. I wish I have the stomach to eat more.
We had our dinner on the 9th floor Roof Terrace, next to the hotel's infinity swimming pool. From here, the view was so nice, especially in the evening, when the lights of the city come on. We are most thankful to The Northam All Suite for having invited us to this sumptuous feast up in the sky.

About this website
Dear visitor, thank you so much for reading this page. My name is Timothy Tye and my hobby is to find out about places, write about them and share the information with you on this website. I have been writing this site since 5 January 2003. Originally (from 2003 until 2009, the site was called AsiaExplorers. I changed the name to Penang Travel Tips in 2009, even though I describe more than just Penang but everywhere I go (I often need to tell people that "Penang Travel Tips" is not just information about Penang, but information written in Penang), especially places in Malaysia and Singapore, and in all the years since 2003, I have described over 20,000 places.
While I try my best to provide you information as accurate as I can get it to be, I do apologize for any errors and for outdated information which I am unaware. Nevertheless, I hope that what I have described here will be useful to you.
