Taman Herba Negeri Perak (GPS: 4.50106, 101.13842) is a public herbal park in Gopeng, Perak. It is located on Jalan Gopeng (State Route A6) east of Batu Gajah, the park covers 22 hectares. There are three man-made lakes in the park, possibly remains from former mining pools.
True to its name, Taman Herba Negeri Perak has many herbal gardens. The herbs are clustered according to their properties. There is a total of 8 herbal gardens here, in addition to a herb nursery. Three of these gardens are for heritage herbs, two are for herbs with medicinal properties, one for aromatic herbs, one for herbs with cosmetic properties, and one for herbs used in ulam or salads.
In addition to the herbal gardens, Taman Herba Perak has public facilities. This includes a car park, a guard house, a cafeteria, washroom, campsite, field, and even a bridal area.
Taman Herba Negeri Perak was established in 2002. It was the brainchild of then Menteri Besar, Datuk Seri Mohd Tajol Rosli Ghazali. It was officiated by then Sultan of Perak, Sultan Azlan Shah on 18 June, 2009.

Taman Herba Negeri Perak is open daily. Opening hours are 8:30am to 4:30pm Mondays to Fridays, with a recess between 12:00noon and 2:45pm on Fridays, and 9:00am to 3:00pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Entrance fees (as of Aug 2017) was RM2 for adults and RM1 for children below age 12. Having said that, nobody collected any entrance fees from us when we visited the park.
