Chinese Restaurants in Ipoh, Perak

Ipoh has always benefitted from the stopover traffic of people travelling between Kuala Lumpur and Penang. There are a number of famous eating places in Ipoh that are frequented by the out-of-town people. On this page, I list down the Chinese restaurants that I have visited in Ipoh. Read also my page on Places to eat in Ipoh. The folks in Ipoh themselves might turn their nose up on these establishments, calling them pricey and over-commercialized. Nonetheless, they are still crowded every evening.

I am not saying that it is de rigueur to eat at the following places, should you every pass by Ipoh, but it does no harm to know them.
