Jalan Dato Maharajalela is a minor road in downtown
Ipoh connecting
Jalan Sultan Yusuf with
Jalan Panglima Bukit Gantang Wahab. The road was named after Dato' Maharaja Lela Pandak Lam, the Perak nobleman who was implicated in the murder of the first British Resident of Perak, J.W.W. Birch and was sentenced to death. Before that, it was originally known as Station Road, after the nearby Ipoh Railway Station.
