Jalan Panglima Bukit Gantang Wahab, Ipoh, Perak (9 November, 2015)
Jalan Panglima Bukit Gantang Wahab is a major road on the western part of the Ipoh Old Town, in Ipoh, Perak. It connects Jalan Kuala Kangsar in the north with Bulatan Bahagia in the south. This is the main road for traffic coming in from the north.
Jalan Panglima Bukit Gantang Wahab forms junctions with Jalan Kompleks Islam, Jalan St John, Jalan SP Seenivasagam, Jalan Dato Maharajalela, Jalan Dato Sagor, Jalan Sultan Iskandar, Jalan Koo Chong Jong, Jalan Leong Boon Swee and Jalan Tun Abdul Razak. It was originally called Club Road, named after Royal Ipoh Club. The road was renamed after Dato' Panglima Bukit Gantang Abdul Wahab, who was the first Menteri Besar of Perak, who was in office from 1 February, 1948 to 1 August, 1957.
