Kinta Aerated Water Company (demolished) (19 August, 2006)
Kinta Aerated Water Company (GPS: 4.59328, 101.0769) was an establishment in the early part of the 20th century founded by Indian Muslim trader M Shaik Adam, whose son Jan Sahib had his office on
Belfield Street. The corner building between Cross Street and Jalan Bandar Timah (Leech Street) was also known as Best Bread, and was later acquired by Singapore Cold Storage.
The building was demolished some time back because when I viewed the site on Google Street View in 2014 (see below), it was empty ground.
