Leong Yew Koh's Legal Firm (GPS: 4.59714, 101.07709) is located at 37 Jalan Maharaja Lela (formerly Station Road) in the 1920's. This is a historic firm that is no longer in existence.
Tun Leong Yew Koh (1888-1963) was one of the pillars of Ipoh society in the early part of the 20th century. The Perak-born lawyer served as a Federal Legislative Councillor and Secretary-General of the MCA. After Independence, Leong Yew Koh was the first Governor of Malacca (Tuan Yang Terutama Yang di-Pertua Negeri Melaka). At time of shot (April, 2014), the premises is occupied by Placid Express.
