Pavilion Square Tower, Kuala Kangsar (31 January, 2006)

The
Pavilion Square Tower (GPS: 4.77442, 100.93905) is one of the most charming buildings in Kuala Kangsar. It stands at one corner of town near the
padang of the Kuala Kangsar Malay College. Designed by N.E. Don and built in 1930, it was used as a recreational centre for court officials and other dignitaries, before today becoming part of a public park.
Often compared to the
Leaning Tower of Teluk Intan, the Pavilion Square Tower is also called the Pagoda of Kuala Kangsar.
