Lata Kinjang is a very big waterfall located near Tapah in Perak. To be exact, it is nearest the village of Kampung Kinjang, and the nearest town is Chenderiang. The name Lata Kinjang means cascading falls. It is one of the most majestic waterfalls in Malaysia. Visible from along the North South Expressway, Lata Kinjang is accessible from the Tapah Exit, and is about 18km from Tapah town.
The main attraction of Lata Kinjang is the multi-tiered waterfall that cascades for 100m down the side of the mountain. The whole falls at Lata Kinjang is said to total 850m (2850ft) in height! The district is home to several orang asli settlement. One may wade or swim in the many recess pools into which the cascades empty. A scrubby row of foodstalls and an orchid garden is located at the bottom of the falls.

Hello and thanks for reading this page. My name is Timothy and my hobby is in describing places so that I can share the information with the general public. My website has become the go to site for a lot of people including students, teachers, journalists, etc. whenever they seek information on places, particularly those in Malaysia and Singapore. I have been doing this since 5 January 2003, for over twenty years already. You can read about me at Discover Timothy. By now I have compiled information on thousands of places, mostly in Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore, and I continue to add more almost every day. My goal is to describe every street in every town in Malaysia and Singapore.
