Pangkor Holiday Resort (GPS: 4.20897, 100.56075) is a resort hotel in Pangkor Island, Perak. Located at Pantai Pasir Bogak, on the west coast of the island, the resort has 29 chalet-style rooms. It has a swimming pool and a restaurant where buffet breakfast is served in the morning, and depending on guest requirements, there is also buffet lunch or dinner provided.
I had a chance to stay at Pangkor Holiday Resort when I visited Pangkor on the WowCuti holiday on 21-22 September 2020. We were warmly greeted by its hotel manager Mr Robert Khor. We had our lunch at Sudu Restaurant, where we met its chef who has just recently cooked for the prime minister of Malaysia, who happened to be visiting Pangkor at that time.
The convenience of staying at Pangkor Holiday Resort is that it is within walking distance to the beach. Also just outside the resort are shops and restaurants, so if we do not feel like having our meals inhouse, we could just find something nearby.
Chef Aziz of Pangkor Holiday Resort. Just one week before I arrive, Chef Aziz had the privilege to cook for the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Muhyiddin Yassin, who was in Pangkor. (21 September 2020)
Hello and thanks for reading this page. My name is Timothy and my hobby is in describing places so that I can share the information with the general public. My website has become the go to site for a lot of people including students, teachers, journalists, etc. whenever they seek information on places, particularly those in Malaysia and Singapore. I have been doing this since 5 January 2003, for over twenty years already. You can read about me at Discover Timothy. By now I have compiled information on thousands of places, mostly in Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore, and I continue to add more almost every day. My goal is to describe every street in every town in Malaysia and Singapore.
