Sungai Pinang Kecil (GPS: 4.22782, 100.57433) is a village on the east coast of Pangkor Island. Villagers here predominantly Chinese, and as in most towns in the country, the houses along the main road are occupied by the Chinese businesses. the village has a number of Chinese temples including the Daozi Temple, Niu Niu Temple for the veneration of the Guan Yin, and the Datuk Kong Shrine. In the heart of the village is Masjid Sungai Pinang Kecil, also called Masjid Al-Khairiah, which is built in the Chinese style.
