Pulau Sembilan (GPS: 4.02934, 100.54859; Chinese: 九屿岛, Pinyin: Jiǔ Yǔ Dǎo) is a small island off the coast of
Manjung District in Perak. The island is being promoted by the
Perak Nature Parks Corporation as a tourist destination. As such, a number of travel agencies along the Perak coast, from
Lumut to
Bagan Datoh, have started offering packages to Pulau Sembilan. There is basic tourist facilities on the island, such as sheds and tables for day trippers. Those who wish to overnight on the island can rent the camping tents.
In addition to picnic trips to the island, some operators now offer scuba diving in the vicinity of Pulau Sembilan. Dive sites around the island include White Rock and Black Rock, so called for the colour of the boulders in the vicinity.
