Perdana Putra Building (GPS: 2.93858, 101.69218) is the office of the prime minister in Precinct 1, Putrajaya. It is one of the landmarks of Putrajaya. It is located on a small hillock 50 metres high overlooking the city. The Perdana Putra Building is finished in natural stone with a green roofing. Carrying elements of Mughal architecture, the Perdana Putra Building includes a quincunx of onion-shaped domes, similar to the Palace of Justice further down the Boulevard.
The Perdana Putra Building is six storeys high, consisting of one main block and two wings flanking it. The building houses, among others, the offices of the Prime Minister and the Deputy Prime Minister. The various ministers and deputy ministers also have an office in this building. It is one of the main component of Precinct 1 of Putrajaya, together with the Putra Mosque, Dataran Putra and Perdana Walk.
The public can gain access to the Perdana Putra Building from Mondays to Fridays: 8.00 am - 12.30 pm, 2.00 pm - 4.30 pm. The building is closed on weekends and public holidays.
