Putra Bridge (GPS: 2.93258, 101.6902), or
Jambatan Putra, is one of the main bridges in
Putrajaya. Located in Precinct 1, it spans 435 metres, carrying Persiaran Perdana to connect Dataran Putra in the Government Precinct to the Boulevard in the Mixed Development Precinct. The bridge was completed in 1999.
Putra Bridge was inspired by the Khaju Bridge of Isfahan, Iran. The upper level forms part of the Boulevard. One level down is the service tunnel, with provision for LRT track, service road and pedestrian walkway. The lowest level will be used for restaurants and for boat berthing.
