Beluran (GPS: 5.62702, 117.13043) is a small town in the Sandakan Division of Sabah. It has a population of about 71,000 as of the year 2000.
Beluran is about 86 km from Sandakan. Most of the people in Beluran are from the Kadazan, Dusun and Bajau ethnic groups. The town of Telupid, also within Beluran subdistrict, is about 100 km from Beluran town.
