Interior Division, Sabah

The Interior Division is an administrative division of Sabah. It occupies the southwestern part of the state. The Interior Division covers an area of 18,298 square kilometers, which represents 24.9% of Sabah and has 14.7% of the state population. Major towns in the Interior Division are Beaufort, Kuala Penyu, Sipitang, Tenom, Nabawan, Keningau and Tambunan.

The Interior Division comprises seven districts:

1. Beaufort District
2. Keningau District
3. Kuala Penyu District
4. Nabawan District
5. Sipitang District
6. Tambunan District
7. Tenom District
