The Interior Division is an administrative division of Sabah. It occupies the southwestern part of the state. The Interior Division covers an area of 18,298 square kilometers, which represents 24.9% of Sabah and has 14.7% of the state population. Major towns in the Interior Division are Beaufort, Kuala Penyu, Sipitang, Tenom, Nabawan, Keningau and Tambunan.
