Go BackKiulu River Whitewater Rafting is an exciting activity that can be done in a day from Kota Kinabalu. It is carried out at Sungai Kiulu, a river in the town of Tamparuli, about 1 1/2 hours by van from Kota Kinabalu. On the journey here, you can get nice views of Mount Kinabalu.
Unlike the rapids at Sungai Padas, those at Kiulu River is only classed at Grades 1-2, making them suitable for children and gentle enough for the elderly.
