Luyang is a locality in Kota Kinabalu. It is located to the east of the city centre. The Luyang area is a predominantly Chinese area. Most of the Chinese here are Hakkas. There are several housing estates here including Taman Desa, Taman Harrington, Taman Town House, Taman Seri Gaya, Taman Seri Menanti, the many phases of Taman Luyang, Taman Layang-Layang, and more.
Tourist attractions in the vicinity of Luyang includes the Sabah State Museum and Art Gallery, Science & Technology Centre, Sabah Islamic Civilization Museum, Sacred Heart Cathedral, and Tun Fuad Memorial Garden with its Heroes Monument.
