Marlin Swordfish Roundabout, Kota Kinabalu (6 May 2022)
Marlin Swordfish Roundabout (GPS: 5.98494, 116.07446) is a landmark roundabout in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. It is where Jalan Tun Fuad Stephen meets Jalan Enam Belas. The roundabout marks the heart of the city waterfront area. It also celebrates the role of Kota Kinabalu as a fishing port especially for deep sea fishing.
Located within the vicinity of the Marlin Swordfish Roundabout are some of the famous buildings and sights of Kota Kinabalu. Immediately across the road is the luxury Hyatt Regency Kinabalu hotel. The waterfront in front of the roundabout is called Todak Waterfront, with todak being the Malay word for swordfish.
