Puh Toh Tze Temple (GPS: 5.99304, 116.11683) is a Buddhist temple in Kota Kinabalu. Also written Pu Toh Si Temple, it is located off Tuaran Road, near the Jalan Tuaran Bypass. This is a Mahayana Buddhist temple that teaches rebirth in Pure Land, Western Paradise or Land of Ultimate Bliss through faith in the Amitabha Buddha and two other sages, the Bodhisattvas Avalokitesvara or Kuan Yin, and the Bodhisattva Mahasthamapratpta (Da Shi Zhi).
Puh Toh Tze Temple was built in 1980. It is the first and biggest Mahayana Buddhist temple in Sabah. One of the main sights in the temple is the big statude of the Goddess of Mercy at the main entrance to the temple.
