The
Sabah State Mosque (GPS: 5.95996, 116.06715), along Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman, is one of the two main mosques for Kota Kinabalu. Until the construction of the
Kota Kinabalu City Mosque, it was the biggest mosque in Sabah. Built in 1977, the Sabah State Mosque, it can accommodate 5000 worshippers at one time. There is also a separate balcony section for Muslim women that can take 500 women worshippers.
Getting there
You can easily take the taxi to reach the Sabah State Mosque.
