Poring Hot Springs is a tourist resort in the district of Ranau in Sabah. It is approximately 40 km southeast of
Kinabalu National Park Headquarters and 13 km from Ranau.
Poring Hot Springs is a natural hot spring. The water has sulphuric minerals that have healing properties. It is a good place to destress, especially after climbing
Mount Kinabalu.
The hot springs is just one of the attractions of Poring, whose name comes from the Kadazan-Dusun word for a species of giant bamboo found there.
