The Grand Old Lady (GPS: 4.38923, 113.99491) is the name of the first oil well that was dug in Miri, Sarawak. It is located on top of Canada Hill overlooking Miri city.
The Grand Old Lady was dug in 1972, and was able to yield 7 barrels of crude oil per day, every day, until 1972. Now it stands as a monument. Nearby is the modern building of the Petroleum Museum.
