Mulu Caves (GPS: 3.95, 114.7833 approximate) are the most famous cave system in Sarawak. They are one of the main reasons for visiting Gunung Mulu National Park. There are a number of caves which are open to the public. They are collectively known as the Show Caves, and I am listing them below for your convenience. Some of the caves, including the Sarawak Chamber, are not open to visitors because they are too inaccessible and dangerous.
Deer Cave (The one with the bats & Abraham Lincoln's profile)
Lang's Cave (The one with stalagtites & stalagmites)
If you are the adventurous type looking for something more than just a walk in the park, or the aforementioned caves, then you should contact tour operators in Miri or Kuching and ask for caving expeditions. Even the Sarawak Chamber can be visited, if you are prepared to cough out RM500 for the opportunity, and willing to spend 10-15 hours in utter darkness.

Hello and thanks for reading this page. My name is Timothy and my hobby is in describing places so that I can share the information with the general public. My website has become the go to site for a lot of people including students, teachers, journalists, etc. whenever they seek information on places, particularly those in Malaysia and Singapore. I have been doing this since 5 January 2003, for over twenty years already. You can read about me at Discover Timothy. By now I have compiled information on thousands of places, mostly in Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore, and I continue to add more almost every day. My goal is to describe every street in every town in Malaysia and Singapore.
