Kepong Sentral Railway Station

Kepong Sentral Railway Station (GPS: 3.20864, 101.62804) is a train station of the Malayan Railway in Kepong, Selangor. The station is actually very near to the KL-Selangor border, with Kepong, Kuala Lumpur on the other side.

Kepong Sentral has two side platforms and two railway tracks. It became operational on 1 July, 2006, for the KTM Komuter Seremban Line services between Sungai Buloh Railway Station in the north and Kepong Komuter Station in the south.

On 1 December, 2008, the Kepong Sentral Railway Station became a stop for the Intercity train service between KL Sentral and Ipoh. When electrification of the line was completed in August 2010, the KTM Electric Train Service replaced the Intercity train service on the KL Sentral to Ipoh route, stopping at the Kepong Sentral Railway Station, between the Sungai Buloh Railway Station and Kuala Lumpur Railway Station.

About this website

Hello and thanks for reading this page. My name is Timothy and my hobby is in describing places so that I can share the information with the general public. My website has become the go to site for a lot of people including students, teachers, journalists, etc. whenever they seek information on places, particularly those in Malaysia and Singapore. I have been doing this since 5 January 2003, for over twenty years already. You can read about me at Discover Timothy. By now I have compiled information on thousands of places, mostly in Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore, and I continue to add more almost every day. My goal is to describe every street in every town in Malaysia and Singapore.
