Sultan Suleiman Royal Mosque, Selangor

Sultan Suleiman Royal Mosque (GPS: 3.03455, 101.45047) is the royal mosque of Selangor, located in Klang. It was opened in 1932 by the late Sultan Sir Alaeddin Suleiman Shah, the fifth Sultan of Selangor, with the attendance of Sir Lawrence Nuuns Guillemard, the British High Commissioner of the Federated Malay States.

Sultan Suleiman Royal Mosque was built in a blend of the Western Art Deco style and Neoclassical cathedral style. The architect was L. Keste Ven. A flight of royal stairs connects the mosque to Istana Alam Shah and the royal mausoleum, the final resting place of the late Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah.
