Mines Resort City is an integrated wellness resort in Seri Kembangan, Selangor. It started as Mines Wonderland, which was expanded to become known as Mines Resort City, and was expanded once again, to become known presently as Mines Resort City. It is often simply called Mines, for it is built on the site of the former Hong Fatt Mine, the largest open cast tin mine in the world. The name is often styled MINES

MINES Resort City comprises many different components. There is Mines Resort & Golf Club (GPS: 3.03201, 101.71685), and The Mines Shopping Mall (GPS: 3.02836, 101.71812). Then there's MINES Resort City (GPS: 3.02961, 101.71734), which has within its embrace, MINES Wonderland, by the side of a 150-acre man-made lake. Located by the lake is Mines Waterfront Business Park (GPS: 3.03976, 101.70932).

Among the attractions at Mines Wonderland include the 3D Aqua Laser Show, the Musical Fountain, the Light Fantasy on Water and Animal Wonderland. The Animal Wonderland is open Tuesday to Friday from 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm while the Amphitheatre is open from Tuesday to Friday from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm. The Traveller Food Village is open daily except Monday from 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

Getting there

From Kuala Lumpur, take the Sungai Besi Expressway (E9) until Seri Kembangan, and then exit the expressway at the Balakong Interchange (Exit 902) into the Kajang SILK Expressway (E18). Mines Wonderland is located on the north side of the SILK Expressway. Exit SILK at the first left turn into Jalan Dulang, and Mines Wonderland is on your left.
