1 Utama Shopping Centre (GPS: 3.14791, 101.61595) is a major shopping mall in Malaysia. In fact it is located in Bandar Utama in Petaling Jaya, a suburb of Kuala Lumpur. With a gross built up area of 5 million sq feet, spread over 6 retail floors, 1 Utama is one of the biggest shopping malls in Malaysia.
1 Utama is divided into five themed zones called Highstreet, Oval, Rainforest, Promenade, Promenade Lakeside, Centre Court, Courtyard and the Entertainment Zone. At the time of writing (July 2006), 1 Utama is embarking on another phase of extension, to include a 20-storey office tower and a 5-star luxury hotel.

The New Wing of 1 Utama was opened on April 2, 2004 by the Sultan of Selangor, HRH Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah. Within the vicinity of 1 Utama are other retail developments including Centrepoint, The Curve, Ikea, Cathay Cineleisure and Ikano. It has two anchor tenants namely Jusco and Giant and a number of well-known outlets including MPH, A&W, Burger King, KFC, McDonalds, Pizza Hut, Long John Silver's, Starbucks, Nando's and Shakey's Pizza. 1 Utama houses two major cinemas, namely Tanjung Golden Village and Golden Screen Cinema, together providing a total of 20 screens.
