Sabak Bernam District, or Daerah Sabak Bernam, is the district to the northwest of Selangor. It shares a border with Perak to the north, Hulu Selangor District to the west and Kuala Selangor to the south. The coast of the Straits of Malacca is to the west.
The district of Sabak Bernam was established on 1 July, 1960. It covers an area of 99,714 hectares. Main towns here include Sekinchan, Sungai Besar and Sabak Bernam. The district is divided into 6 subdistricts or mukim, namely Sabak, Panchang Bedena, Sungai Panjang, Bagan Nakhoda Omar, Pasir Panjang and Sungai Air Tawar.
