Semenyih Dam (GPS: 3.07691, 101.88244) is one of the dams providing water supply to the Klang Valley. It was built in 1986 at a cost of RM400 million. The dam got its name from Sungai Semenyih. As of 2015, Semenyih Dam is the biggest dam in Malaysia. The dam covers an area of 1,500 acres and has a height of 49 meters. It has a capacity of 120 million gallons per day.

How to go to Semenyih Dam
Semenyih Dam is best reached by own transport. The road beside the dam is Jalan Sungai Lalang. There aren't many places where you can catch a good view of the dam.
