Sepang District, Selangor

Sepang District, or Daerah Sepang, is a district on the southern part of Selangor. It borders on Kuala Lumpur to the north, Hulu Langat to the east, Negeri Sembilan to the south, Kuala Langat district to the southwest and Petaling District to the northwest. Located to the south of Kuala Lumpur, Sepang District also surrounds the newly established federal territory of Putrajaya. The township of Cyberjaya is also located in Sepang District.

Among the sights in the Sepang District include KLIA, Sepang International Circuit and KLIA Mosque.

Sepang Distr4ict was created on 1 January, 1975, making it the newest district in Selangor. It comprises three subdistricts, or mukim, namely Dengkil, Sepang and Labu. Of these, close to have the land area is occupied by the mukim of Dengkil.
