Taman Botani Negara Shah Alam (GPS: 3.09524, 101.51135) is a botanic garden in
Shah Alam, Selangor. It is located off Persiaran Gunung Nuang. It was originally known as Taman Pertanian Bukit Cerakah, and was opened to the public on 24 April, 1986. In 1991 it was popularized as Bukit Cahaya Seri Alam Agriculture Park. The present name came about in 2007.
Taman Botani Negara Shah Alam has various features such as an animal park with various animals such as hedgehogs and deer, an ornamental garden, a temperate house where visitors can experience the four seasons, a garden of herbs and spices, a cactus garden, a tropical fruit garden, paddy fields and a medicinal garden.

Visitor Information
Taman Botani Negara Shah Alam is open daily except Mondays (unless it is the school holidays or public holidays), from 8:30 am until 5:00 pm. The ticket booth closes at 4:30 pm.
As of Oct 2015, the entrance fee to Taman Botani Negara Shah Alam is RM3 for adults and RM1 for children (aged 6-11 years) and senior citizens (aged 55 years and above). In addition, there is an entrance fee to the Four Seasons Temperate House, at RM5 (adults)/RM3 (children) for the winter house, and RM3 (adults)/RM1 (children) for the other seasons house.
Parking fee is RM3 for cars, RM1 for motorcycles, and RM5 for buses.
