Hutan Simpan Gunung Tebu (GPS: 5.59172, 102.61316) is a protected forest in Setiu, Terengganu. The area has been developed for agrotourism. It is a place where urban folks can connect with nature through the various activities available there.
Hutan Simpan Gunung Tebu covers 403 hectares and comprise primarily of dipterocarp forest. It is rich is several types of dipterocarp trees such as the meranti and the keruing. The forest is named after the 1,097 m (3,401 ft) Gunung Tebu. Visitors can go jungle trekking and learn about the various plants and herbs of the forest such as the kacip fatimah, tongkat ali, gajah mengawan, kerbau amuk and others. There are also a number of streams in the forest with clear, clean and very cold water.
Among the facilities at Hutan Simpan Gunung Tebu is a camping ground with toilet facilities, cooking space, running water and electricity. There is also a recreation ground with waterfall, rabbit park and lake for boating and rafting.
