Bewah and Taat Caves are half-submerged caves in
Kenyir Lake, Terengganu. They are two of the three caves around Kenyir Lake. The third,
Tok Bidan Cave, is now under water.
Bewah Cave is also known as
Gua Tahi Kelawar (Cave of Bat Droppings) due to the plentiful guano found there. Instead it was named after
Bukit Bewah to which it belongs. Archaeologists at from Muzium Negara are said to have found evidence of early human habitation in the cave, including the remains of a Neolithic man.
