Bukit Puteri Gunpowder Hole is a hole at the back of
Tengku Umar's Throne. This was where he stored the gun powder for use during the civil war with Tengku Mansur in 1831. He lost that battle and was ejected from Bukit Puteri. However he staged a comeback in 1839, ousting Tengku Mansur's successor, Sultan Muhammad I.
