The Noor Arfa Craft Complex is the flagship outlet of the Noor Arfa batik enterprise. The craft complex has a wing where batik painting is demonstrated. Another wing is a craft school where visitors can take part in learning traditional crafts.

In the main building of the craft complex is the batik showroom with numerous products of batik including menswear and womenswear, accessories, and souvenirs. On the ground floor is a factory outlet centre where shoppers can grab branded items on stock over runs at factory prices.
Noor Arfa is the best known brand of batik in Malaysia. The business began in 1980 when the husband-and-wife team of Wan Mohd Ariffin and Noor Hijerah began designing and selling their own hand-drawn batik products. They soon came up with the name Noor Arfa, a portmanteau of their two names.
Today Noor Arfa batik factory occupies a 2.5-acre site in the Chenderung Industrial Area in southern Kuala Terengganu. Attached to the factory is the craft complex, which has the largest batik showroom in the country.

Hello and thanks for reading this page. My name is Timothy and my hobby is in describing places so that I can share the information with the general public. My website has become the go to site for a lot of people including students, teachers, journalists, etc. whenever they seek information on places, particularly those in Malaysia and Singapore. I have been doing this since 5 January 2003, for over twenty years already. You can read about me at Discover Timothy. By now I have compiled information on thousands of places, mostly in Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore, and I continue to add more almost every day. My goal is to describe every street in every town in Malaysia and Singapore.
