Merchang, Terengganu

Merchang (GPS: 5.04503, 103.29088) is a coastal village in Terengganu. It is located to the south of Marang on Federal Route 3, the coastal road. According to the 2000 Census, the village has a population of 3,170.

Among the villages around Merchang are Kampung Kolam, Kampung Padang Pauh, Kampung Tok Jening and Kampung Selawa. To the south of Merchang is Gong Balai, another coastal village.
