Malaysian Institute of Pharmaceuticals and Nutraceuticals

Malaysian Institute of Pharmaceuticals and Nutraceuticals (GPS: 5.35526, 100.29216) is a government institute in Gelugor, Penang. It is located on Jalan Bukit Gambir, across the road from Universiti Sains Malaysia. The institute, which was established on 29 November, 2006, is under the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation. Its mission is to deliver world-class R&C in the field of pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals.

The Malaysian Institute of Pharmaceuticals and Nutraceuticals is tasked with coming up with products exploiting the natural resources available in the country. It is also tasked to be the regulatory body in ensuring compliance to pharmaceutical and nutraceutical biotechnology.
