Mayang Mall (GPS: 5.32639, 100.28484) is a low rise office block in Bayan Baru. It was intended to be a shopping mall, but somehow the intention was unrealised. Hence over time the mall was converted to house offices. Among the tenants of Mayang Mall includes the Bayan Baru Library, Bayan Baru Post Office, Motorola, JobStreet, and SuperPages. HSBC was a former tenant before relocating to the Bayan Indah area.

11 April, 2017: The Star reports that the Penang State Government is spending RM10 million to refurbish Mayang Mall and to turn it into a Global Business Services centre.
