Meowy Cat Shelter is a home for handicapped, injured and helpless cats and kittens. It is located in Ayer Puteh, Balik Pulau. Meowy Cat Shelter was set up in September 2014 so that unwanted cats have a second chance.

As of January, 2016, the shelter has three big cages that can house about one hundred cats. The first two cages were built by the shelter with its own funding, while the third, which cost around RM2,000, was built through public sponsorship. To provide more space for the cats, a big enclosure was also built so that the cats can roam around in it. This enclosure was completed in March, 2016.

From the time Meowy Cat Shelter was started in 2014 until now (June 2016), the number of cats living there has increased from thirty to over two hundred. The shelter hopes to buy a piece of land to build a home to house all the cats and kittens. The estimated cost of this is around RM1 million.

Meowy Cat Shelter seeks public support in the form of donation and sponsorship to pay for food, medical and hospitalisation expenses, vaccination and deworming, neutering and spaying of the cats. In addition, it has fixed expenses including helper salary, rental and utilities.
