Minion Rickshawman Street Art (30 June 2014)


This Minion Rickshawman street art is installed on the wall of a shophouse at Ah Quee Street, in George Town, Penang. It looks like it is made of papier-mâché. The artwork is one among a few gracing the wall. At time of writing, I am not sure who is the artist responsible for it.

The Minion Rickshawman street art does not show the name of the artist, apart from the word "Singapor" and the date 17-06-2014. It is just a short distance from the Boy on a Bike and Little Boy with Pet Dinosaur murals, both by Ernest Zacharevic.

Getting there

From the Weld Quay Ferry & Bus Terminal, go south along Weld Quay until junction of Chulia Street Ghaut. Go along Chulia Street Ghaut until it meets Beach Street, turn left, go along Beach Street till you reach the junction of Ah Quee Street. Go along Ah Quee Street and you will see the artwork on the wall on the right.
