Jalan Moulmein, Pulau Tikus

Moulmein Road, Penang (17 March 2018)


Jalan Moulmein or Moulmein Road is a road in the Pulau Tikus suburb of George Town, Penang. It connects Jalan Pasar to Jalan Yeoh Guan Seok. Lengkok Moulmein also forms a T-junction to it.

As with a number of places in Pulau Tikus, it was named after a town in Myanmar. In this case, the town of Moulmein, which today is known as Mawlamyine.

Getting to Jalan Moulmein

Take Rapid Penang Bus 101, 103 or 104, to Burmah Road and walk from there through Moulmein Close to reach Moulmein Road.
