Mount Erskine Tua Pek Kong Funerary Temple (GPS: 5.44093, 100.30268) is a temple within the
Mount Erskine Cantonese Cemetery. It is dedicated to the
Tua Pek Kong, the Taoist deity that acts as local guardian and protector of the people, in life and in death. At a funerary temple, the Tua Pek Song serves as guardian of the departed.
Within the Mount Erskine Tua Pek Kong Temple are worship halls for Tua Pek Kong as well as for ancestor worship. The halls for ancestor worship house the ancestral tablets of department clan members.
Within a short walk from this temple is
another Tua Pek Kong temple. However, that was is for the worship of Tua Pek Kong as guardian of the living.
