The Dewi Sri Muthu Mariamman & Deva Sada Muniswarar Temple is a Hindu temple in Dhoby Ghaut, Penang. The temple venerates two Hindu deities, Dewi Sri Muthu Mariamman and Deva Sada Muniswarar. Considering the location of the temple, I believe these are deities associated with the dhobies, who still operate laundry businesses in the area.

Getting there

The nearest bus stop is along Jalan Air Itam, which is served by Rapid Penang bus 102, 201, 202, 203, 204 and 502. Due to the presence of Sungai Air Terjun, you have to reach the temple by taking Jalan Air Itam until the junction of York Road, continue on York Road till junction of York Close (Solok York) on your left, then continue on York Close until you reach the temple at its extreme end. The whole journey takes about 15 minutes.
